Steel Fabrication Draughtsman Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Draughtsman to join our clients well-established and highly successful Steel Fabrication company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD design and experience working on steel frame buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working from engineering/GA drawings to create 3D CAD models using Tekla or StruCAD software.
  • Creating detailed assembly/fabrication drawings, bills of material, and erection drawings from the 3D model.
  • Raising RFIs/TQs as required to obtain additional information.
Requirements:
  • Essential experience working as a Draughtsman on steel framed buildings.
  • Experience using either Tekla or StruCAD software is required.
  • A good eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK on a permanent basis.
  • Ability to commute to the office, located near Sandwell.
