We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Apprentice Maintenance Technician to join our team at European Metal Recycling. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and condition monitor the whole plant, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
- Implement Root Cause Analysis (RCA) approach to eliminate repeat issues and contribute to medium and long-term plans.
- Liaise with contractors to ensure correct RAMS are in place prior to work commencement and adhered to during work.
- Work with suppliers to ensure the best quality, service, and cost.
- Attend training as required to keep within legislation and up-to-date knowledge.
- A nationally recognised mechanical/fabrication time-served apprenticeship minimum level 3.
- Maintenance experience in a heavy engineering environment.
- Nationally recognised training in industrial electrical maintenance and installation.
- First principles relating to the operation and maintenance of appropriate plant and equipment.
- Maintenance and operational practices, processes, and procedures covering a range of plant and equipment.
