Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Versatile Maintenance Technician to become a vital part of our dynamic team at CMD Recruitment. This full-time, permanent role involves working on a rotating AM/PM shift schedule, ensuring the seamless operation of our automated production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform maintenance tasks on automated production equipment.
- Enhance preventative maintenance strategies.
- Conduct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, utilizing three-phase control systems.
- Execute minor installation projects as required.
- Drive machine efficiency through ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, including transit areas.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and protocols.
- Participate in the weekend on-call rotation.
- Ensure compliance with budgetary constraints while conducting root cause analysis and predictive/preventative planning.

Qualifications:

- Possession of an engineering qualification in mechanical or electrical disciplines.
- Proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, including breakdowns, repairs, and fault diagnosis.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting capabilities, particularly with PLCs, drives, and inverters.
- Comprehensive understanding of engineering schematics, HV/LV switchgear, and electrical drivers.
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are essential.

Additional Information:

Please note that this role involves a rotating weekly shift pattern and includes weekend standby duties.
