About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CAMHS Practitioner to join our team in Tameside and Glossop CAMHS. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions for adolescents and families.

As a CAMHS Practitioner, you will be responsible for working with children and young people aged 5 to 18 years, providing evidence-based interventions and assessments. You will also be expected to work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to deliver a comprehensive service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions for adolescents and families
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to deliver a comprehensive service
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, young people, and their families
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service plans and policies
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse - Mental Health, Social Work, or OT Qualification or equivalent with regulatory body registration
  • Significant post-qualification experience in community mental health services
  • Strong knowledge of mental health issues in young people and relevant legislation and National policies
  • Ability to work well with a team and manage a caseload
  • Ability to work creatively and flexibly in a clinical context
