Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Receptionist to join our team at The Lyndhurst Surgery. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our doctors and clinical team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm and welcoming reception service to patients and visitors
  • Manage patient appointments, bookings, and correspondence
  • Process patient records, data input, and correspondence
  • Contribute to maintaining practice administrative systems
  • Facilitate effective communication between patients, healthcare teams, and other agencies
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong IT skills and experience with EMIS Web
  • Flexibility and reliability in a fast-paced environment
  • Good customer service skills and ability to work under pressure
About Us

The Lyndhurst Surgery is a small, friendly, and forward-looking practice with a patient population of approximately 5000. Our team comprises 2 Partners, 3 Locum GPs, 1 Practice Nurse, and 1 Clinical Pharmacist, together with a strong and hard-working administrative team. We are an accredited training practice and teach and support medical students at different levels.
