Job Opportunity: Manufacturing Engineer

MBDA UK Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at our Manufacturing Centre of Excellence. As a key member of our Operations directorate, you will play a vital role in the production of our products, working closely with design to ensure the producibility of designs and influencing the 'how' we build our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective production.
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure designs are producible and meet manufacturing requirements.
  • Responsible for tooling, instructions, and cost of manufacture of our products.
  • Validate production lines and suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Provide day-to-day support to operators building our products.
  • Develop new manufacturing processes and improve existing ones.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Physics, Maths, or various Engineering degrees (Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Systems, Electrical/Electronic, and General).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn technical information into practical solutions.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Simul8, MRP tools (SAP), Engineering Drawing tools (Creo), and Configuration Control.
