About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Galaxy Personnel. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks and respond to equipment faults in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot breakdown problems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  3. Install and fit new parts, and conduct quality inspections to ensure equipment is working correctly.
  4. Liaise with internal stakeholders, customers, and other engineering colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  5. Source and procure specialized equipment, fixtures, and components as needed.
  6. Manage and maintain a high level of organization and control over maintenance tools, stores, and equipment.
  7. Respond to emergencies and unplanned problems, and perform repairs as required.

Requirements

  1. Qualification in mechanical engineering and a valid driving license.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
  4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
