About the Role

Mentus Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading provider of mental health services in the private sector.

We are seeking an experienced Specialty Doctor or Associate Specialist to join a well-established independent hospital for adults in Leicester.

The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced Medical Director, Consultant Psychiatrist, and junior doctors to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychiatric assessments for new admissions to the ward
  • Clerk new patients and review their mental and physical state over time
  • Deliver a range of interventions in the least restrictive environment
  • Complete Tribunal Reports and maintain accurate patient records
  • Provide support and guidance to junior doctors
  • Participate in ward rounds with the consultant and multidisciplinary team
  • Support the consultant as needed and ensure effective communication with the team
