Nursery Nurse Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join our friendly and caring team at Nursery People. Our clients are looking for a professional who can create a nurturing environment for children and support the team in providing high-quality childcare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in partnership with parents and carers to cater for all children's individual needs, observing, planning, and evaluating development activities.
  • Support the Room Leader in ensuring that all nursery initiatives are fully embedded into the room, following and implementing the EYFS at all times.
  • Respond to parent queries or requests in a polite and professional manner, seeking help or signposting parents to the correct person within the nursery as appropriate.
  • Support with new staff induction into the room, to ensure consistency of care.
  • Take good care and responsibility for equipment and furniture in the room, ensuring that any issues are flagged appropriately.
Requirements:
  • Nursery Nurse experience of working in a day nursery.
  • Relevant Early Years qualification – Level 3.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of the EYFS.
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements, safeguarding, and pediatric first aid.
  • Valid DBS check.
