About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at Harbour Hotels. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day maintenance of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that on-site maintenance management is undertaken in accordance with policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Regularly liaise with General Manager/Ops Manager and be the principal point of contact for advice and guidance in connection with the day-to-day maintenance of the building(s).
  • Management of maintenance budgets and assist in the procurement of supplies and services at the property in accordance with the company policy.
  • Monitor contractor performance against agreed standards.
  • Assist the building's 'Social Responsible Management' (H&S and environmental/sustainability) activities.
  • Assist in the management of the buildings' plant and equipment. Will be responsible for building management systems where appropriate.
  • Assist in the implementation and supervision of minor works.
  • Help prepare site regulations and issue permits to work for all contractor activities on site. Maintain, and test disaster planning procedures to cover all emergencies.
  • To organise and coordinate compliance testing. Establish and maintain proper site records in accordance with best practice rules.
  • Respond to all reactive work requirements in order of safety critical priority.
  • Assist in the monitoring of vacant/void rooms in conjunction with company policy.
  • Regular tours of the property to ensure all standards and H&S requirements are upheld in accordance with company policy.
