Role Overview:
As a key member of the Contract Surveyors team, you will oversee the financial aspects of projects while identifying opportunities to enhance profit margins.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily commercial and surveying tasks for assigned projects.
- Maintain continuous communication with the Project Manager to ensure clarity on commercial issues and support effective project delivery.
- Develop comprehensive project cost plans, collaborating closely with the design team and operational staff during the pre-construction phase.
- Procure subcontract work packages and prepare detailed tender reports prior to subcontractor appointments.
- Measure and assess work completed on-site.
- Prepare monthly valuations, conduct commercial reporting, identify and assess variations, and manage expenditure control.
- Recognize health and safety, risk, and margin considerations in all tasks.
- Ensure compliance with subcontract agreements and assist in managing subcontractor payments.
Candidate Profile:
Do you possess:
- An honors degree in Quantity Surveying?
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Contracting Quantity Surveying role? *preferred
Are you:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word?
- Capable of working independently while also being an effective team player?
