About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Formulation Technician to join our team in Liverpool. As a key member of our Formulation team, you will play a crucial role in the development of new formulation and product technologies that will drive our innovation programme and growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare formulations, utilizing development scale equipment and test formulations using appropriate methods.
- Contribute to the development of new product technologies, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring efficient and effective formulation development.
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues, ensuring high-quality formulation development and product delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our formulation processes.
Requirements
- Basic chemistry/engineering qualification, HNC or equivalent experience.
- Experience in liquids formulation, processing, filling, and characterisation.
- Experience in soft solids formulation, processing, extrusion, casting, etc., and characterisation.
- Excellent time management skills, report writing, and team working skills.
- Ability to breakdown activities into achievable tasks and provide effective solutions.
