About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Director to join our team at Microlise. As a Technical Director, you will play a key role in leading our technical teams and driving the development of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to drive business growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

What You Will Be Doing

  • Coaching technical performance within a team and across a business, setting technical objectives and measuring progress
  • Highlighting training requirements within a multi-discipline agile team
  • Technical domain design skills
  • Technical debt identification and pay down
  • Strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
  • Advocate and leadership of design review
  • Technical evangelism
  • Able to implement patterns of enterprise architecture
  • Working with architecture-focused road maps
  • Positive attitude in the workplace
