About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Dance Teacher to join our team at Hillingdon Manor School, a specialist education provider for students with autism and complex needs. As a Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering dance programs that cater to the diverse needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess dance lessons to students aged 11-19
  • Develop and implement individual education plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Contribute to the development of the school's dance curriculum and programs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • QTS or QTLS status
  • Experience teaching dance to students with autism and complex needs
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
