About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinarian to join our team at a well-established veterinary practice in Leeds. As a Veterinarian, you will be responsible for conducting thorough physical examinations of animals and diagnosing health issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans for sick or injured animals
- Perform surgical procedures, including spaying, neutering, and other routine or emergency surgeries
- Administer vaccinations and prescribe medications as needed
- Provide guidance and education to pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and preventive health measures
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for all patients
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Stay current with developments in veterinary medicine and attend continuing education as required
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid state veterinary license
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in general medicine and surgery
- Compassionate and patient approach to pet care
