About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Chef Manager to join our team at Brighterkind. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering and overseeing the preparation and production of food, as well as managing the full dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage every aspect of the catering operation within the home, delivering a quality service and dining experience in line with all health, safety & hygiene requirements.
  • Lead the catering team and manage performance, ensuring that all team members are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Deliver varied, nutritious and appetising menu options for our residents, taking into account any special dietary needs, allergen information and retaining records for inspection purposes.
  • Liaise with approved suppliers to ensure efficient delivery of orders, in line with the company policy and procedures to maintain appropriate stock levels and budget control.
  • Oversee the Food Safety Management System, including COSHH Management and cleaning rota, to ensure the regular cleaning of all kitchen areas, equipment and appliances.
  • Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks and in line with the Food Safety Management Systems, by assessing risk and having due regard for personal safety of residents, visitors and team members.
  • Undertake weekly stock takes and submission of budget sheets.
