Firmware Engineer with PCB Design Expertise

We are seeking a skilled Firmware Engineer with a strong background in embedded C programming and PCB design to contribute to the development of cutting-edge electronic locking and access control products.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain firmware for electronic locking and access control products, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define firmware requirements and specifications, leveraging expertise in microcontroller architectures and peripherals.
- Design, implement, and test embedded C code for microcontroller-based systems, utilizing version control systems to manage firmware codebases.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards, and troubleshoot and debug firmware issues throughout the development lifecycle.
- Design PCB layouts for electronic circuits, considering factors such as component placement, signal integrity, and manufacturability, and work closely with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with PCB designs and ensure compatibility.
- Perform hardware and firmware integration testing to validate system functionality, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in firmware development and PCB design.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in embedded systems development using C/C++ programming languages.
- Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures and peripherals.
- Proficiency in PCB design software.
- Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout techniques.
- Experience with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, and Ethernet.
- Knowledge of security principles and encryption algorithms is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
