About the Role...
At EDF, we are at the forefront of developing cutting-edge nuclear energy solutions, contributing to a sustainable future by generating low carbon electricity for millions of homes.
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Quality Department, ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout the entire project lifecycle.
As the primary contact for quality-related matters within a designated portfolio, you will collaborate closely with the Quality Delivery Manager and their Multi Discipline Team, providing essential quality management expertise.

This includes a market-leading pension scheme, paid time off, and various flexible benefits such as a company incentive bonus plan, cycle-to-work scheme, and exclusive discounts.
At EDF, we celebrate diversity and are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels empowered to express themselves. We aim for a balanced workforce that reflects a variety of backgrounds, including gender, ethnicity, LGBTQ+ identities, and those with disabilities.
We are a disability confident employer and are dedicated to assisting you throughout the application process, making necessary adjustments as required.
Key Responsibilities...

- Review and monitor Contractors Quality Assurance Plans (CQAP) from the supply chain.
- Identify and coordinate supply chain audits, ensuring prompt resolution of any findings.
- Create Project Quality Control Plans (PQCP) for each contract.
- Provide guidance to contractors on quality-related activities and strategies.
- Ensure that manufacturing surveillance is applied according to contract specifications, focusing on equipment safety and project significance.
Candidate Profile...
The ideal candidate will possess:

- Extensive experience in implementing diverse quality solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership in quality assurance/control within the nuclear or other safety-critical industries.
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and issue resolution.

- A comprehensive understanding of quality management best practices applicable to large, complex organizations.
- Ability to interface effectively with project teams and supply chain partners.
- Strong influencing skills and the capacity to provide constructive feedback.
- Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work independently.
We value the unique contributions of every individual and are committed to providing opportunities for professional growth and success.
