Purpose of the Sales Executive Role:
Our client is seeking a Sales Executive to collaborate with and assist the Marketplace Manager.
The initial focus will be on gaining insights into the commercial division, the client's offerings, and the overall business through various administrative responsibilities.
As knowledge is acquired, there will be an opportunity to progress into managing a small portfolio of expanding national accounts.
Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Sales Executive:
- Continuously assess competitor actions and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Assist in listing products on various marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, B&Q, etc.
- Regularly check and update product listings.
- Implement tracking on marketplaces.
- Aid in the creation of enhanced content for Amazon.
- Must be proactive and motivated to promote the client's furniture brand across multiple platforms to drive sales growth.
- A successful candidate will need to work closely with the Marketplace Manager to develop and comprehend strategy.
Experience/Knowledge Requirements for the Sales Executive:
- Experience with marketplace platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Debenhams, B&Q, and The Range.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Willingness to learn new platforms and processes with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong analytical skills with the capability to utilize data for informed business decisions.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and excel in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Well-presented and professional demeanor at all times, as this is a customer-facing role.
