We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our team at Kilnwick Percy Resort & Golf Club in Pocklington, York.
This is a permanent position requiring full-time hours, with 40 hours spread across 5 variable days, including weekends and bank holidays.
During peak periods, hours may be subject to change, and flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the business.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Liaising with the Group Operations Manager to manage the Resort.
- Overseeing the day-to-day running and efficient operations of the Resort.
- Ensuring staff motivation and training.
- Liaising with the Head of Department to manage budgets.
- Establishing an effective Resort structure.
- Overseeing events, such as weddings and golf tournaments.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with previous holiday resort/hospitality experience, preferably with management experience. The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service and communication skills, a positive work ethic, and a willingness to learn new skills.
A driving license and ability to drive are advantageous for easy travel to and from the retreat.
