Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage the Technical Team: You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of technicians, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and training to deliver high-quality work.
- Operational Management: You will be responsible for the overall management of the workshop, including scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
- Customer Service: You will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service, including responding to customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Business Growth: You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for business growth and developing strategies to achieve this.
- Compliance: You will be responsible for ensuring that our business meets all relevant regulatory requirements, including health and safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance standard, or equivalent time served
- Experience of working in the automotive industry
- Experience of supervising / managing colleagues
- Experience of delivering coaching/training in the moment to colleagues
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing
- A track record of success in delivering against targets
- Experience of building great relationships across a large team
- Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety and quality
- Experience with or an aptitude for learning in-house systems
- Experience of labour force scheduling, with proven time management skills
- A current full valid driving licence
