Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations at Grosvenor Casino, Southend-on-Sea. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Coach and motivate your team to achieve exceptional culinary standards and consistency.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff.
- Develop and implement menus that meet customer preferences and dietary requirements.
- Monitor and control kitchen costs, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Kitchen Manager in a high-volume restaurant or casino environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to maintain high standards.
- Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
