Manager of Submarine Product Assurance

Contract Duration: Initial 6 months
Compensation: £65.00 PAYE or £85.77 Umbrella per hour
Work Structure: Hybrid model (2-3 days in the office weekly)
Role Overview:
As the Submarine Product Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of the Engineering Management Plan and the Engineering Assurance Management Plan in alignment with the establishment of the Joint Design Authority. You will ensure these documents are regularly updated through a defined review process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the formulation and execution of the Joint Design Authority Technical Governance Policy, ensuring the effective delivery and secure storage of technical governance outputs.
- Provide assurance that the evolving Technical Risk Management strategies within the Dreadnought Alliance accurately reflect the current and anticipated technical risks associated with the program.
Required Skills:
- Experience in Engineering Management, ideally in an Assurance-focused role.
- Possession of an engineering qualification or an equivalent degree in a scientific discipline.
- Typically requires Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent experience) or progression towards it.
Security Clearance: Full SC Clearance is mandatory for this position.
