Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Global IT department. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines and related software infrastructure that enable reliable and trustworthy data sources for the company.

The Data Engineer will work closely with the Data Services team to ensure that data systems are operating correctly and that data is delivered in a timely manner. The role will also involve working with data analysts and other software engineers to ensure that data is transformed correctly in ETL/ELT pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems.
  • Develop and maintain software infrastructure to support data analysis, reporting, and machine learning systems.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and other software engineers to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Ensure data systems are operating correctly and that data is delivered in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in data engineering, including data pipeline design and implementation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
