Position Overview
We are in search of a skilled Senior Medical Editor who possesses a strong commitment to ensuring precision and clarity in scientific communications. As a Senior Medical Editor, you will be an integral part of our proficient editing team, responsible for delivering high-caliber scientific content across various platforms. Your role will entail ensuring that all scientific materials are accurate, coherent, and aligned with client goals and brand guidelines. You will lead the charge in upholding excellence in quality and precision while enhancing editorial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and refine scientific content across a variety of formats, including show files for advisory boards, manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide presentations, and video subtitles.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee that all scientific content aligns with client objectives and brand standards.
- Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring the timely delivery of superior quality work.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior editorial team members.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance editorial decisions.
Candidate Profile
- Significant experience as a Medical Editor within an agency context.
- A robust portfolio demonstrating your expertise in editing and proofreading scientific content across diverse channels.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality results punctually.
- Capability to critically assess content to ensure excellence in accuracy, interpretation, visual presentation, and compliance with copyright regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, adaptability to client and team needs, and the ability to swiftly address internal and external challenges.
- A solid understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities present in the healthcare sector.
