Job Title: Primary Teacher for PPA Coverage

Protocol Education is seeking a qualified Primary Teacher to provide PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) coverage in a mainstream primary school in Enfield, London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver planned lessons across all primary year groups where needed
  • Communicate effectively with class teachers to ensure continuity and progression
  • Teach pupils assigned to you, setting and marking work to be carried out by pupils in school or elsewhere
  • Promote the general progress and wellbeing of assigned pupils
  • Provide guidance and advice to pupils on educational and social matters
  • Maintain and monitor display work in appropriate areas of the school
  • Demonstrate flexibility to work across key stages with various classes and pupils

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of teaching and ability to design courses
  • Sensitivity and understanding
  • Ability to create best conditions for learning or teaching new things
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Flexibility and openness to change
  • Knowledge of English language
  • Patience and ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use a computer and main software packages competently
