Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Hill House, a 24-bed care home with nursing in Sandbach. As a Registered Nurse with Leonard Cheshire, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care and support to our customers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met in a safe and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care and support to customers, adhering to Person Centred Plans and NMC guidelines.
- Lead a team of support staff, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of shifts, prioritizing and planning tasks to meet customer needs.
- Order and administer medication, ensuring safe storage and accurate record-keeping.
- Support ongoing assessments, observing changes in health and well-being, and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure customers receive comprehensive care and support.
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
- Understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
- Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
- Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
