Description

Lionsgate Contractors is in search of a dedicated HSE Coordinator to join our esteemed Civil Engineering team, focusing on significant projects throughout the Midlands and Northern England. This position is predominantly office-based, complemented by regular site inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Oversight: Oversee and ensure the effectiveness of the Health & Safety Policy.
  • Documentation Management: Develop and maintain all required HSE documentation.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety regulations, training, and certification requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide updates to Directors and Senior Managers regarding statutory obligations and health and safety events.
  • Site Evaluations: Conduct formal health and safety assessments during site visits.
  • Safety Enhancements: Propose and implement improvements to safety protocols.
  • BMS Development: Assist in the creation of processes to align with ISO updates and maintain documentation.
  • Accreditation Management: Ensure the maintenance and renewal of necessary accreditations.
  • Become part of a leading construction contractor engaged in extensive projects.
  • Contribute to high-profile engineering initiatives across the UK.

Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Experience: At least 3 years in Health & Safety management within the Civil Engineering sector.
    • Skills: Expertise in developing and executing HSE practices and documentation.
    • Evaluation Skills: Proficient in assessing Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Safe Working Methods.
    • Certifications: NEBOSH, NCRQ/NVQ Level 5+, IOSH (mandatory).
