The Role

As an Associate Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for completing planned work programmes and projects to timeframes and within budget.

You will manage client needs and ensure that projects are delivered to client satisfaction.

You will assist the relevant director in managing engineering resources across the Structural Engineering team.

You will lead major projects ensuring that they are delivered to specification.

You will prepare designs, calculations, specifications, drawings, and carry out risk assessments for improvement, refurbishment, and new building schemes, tendering documents and supervising works to completion, including agreeing interim and final accounts.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a structural engineering-related discipline.

You will hold a current site card or be prepared to immediately attain one.

You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.

You will be familiar with relevant construction, health and safety legislation and risks and hazards associated with asbestos.

You will have access to a number of specialist design tools (including CAD, Revit, Robot & Tekla) to ensure projects are delivered to specification.
