About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at The Social Care Community Partnership. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in Residential Care Homes and Hospitals across the Scottish Borders and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including dressing, undressing, and meal preparation.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and support to our clients.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that each client's needs are met and exceeded.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in healthcare and social care.
Requirements:
- At least 6 months of experience working in a social care environment.
- Current registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) is highly desirable.
- Professional qualifications such as an SVQ2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent are ideal.
