Job Title: Embedded Software EngineerWe are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of firmware and software for our innovative diagnostic system.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop firmware and software in close collaboration with internal and external software teams.
- Ensure adherence to and upkeep of software requirements, along with their connections to other documents within the requirements structure.
- Work as part of the wider engineering team to troubleshoot and diagnose emerging issues.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
- Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and bare-metal development.
- A demonstrated track record of safety-critical software development.
- Confident in working with embedded systems, including the ability to interpret electronics schematics and execute I/O operations.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in troubleshooting software and electronic hardware issues.
- Experience in C# and Python programming languages.
- Familiarity with MS Azure RTOS and MS Windows development.
- Previous involvement in regulated In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) development, such as ISO13485 and IEC62304 compliance.
- Enhanced understanding of electronics, including the ability to interpret component datasheets.
- Applied physics and/or engineering proficiency in mechanical, thermal, and optical systems.
