Pertemps Scotland is delighted to be supporting Royal Mail in recruiting multi-drop Postal/Parcel Delivery Drivers in the Edinburgh area.
Key Responsibilities:- Sort and collect post/parcels to be delivered from the local delivery office.
- Use a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries and navigate your route.
- Walk at least 8 miles per day, carrying a bag that can weigh up to 16kg, delivering letters and parcels, with parcels weighing up to 20kg.
- Drive and deliver on foot, pushing/pulling a trolley during deliveries.
- Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points.
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weathers.
