Job Summary:

CBSbutler Holdings Limited trading as CBSbutler is seeking a highly skilled AWS Data Architect to join our team. As a Data Architect, you will play a key role in helping our Defence customers develop their data strategy and define the appropriate level of governance needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate data strategies to non-technical stakeholders and technical experts.
  • Define and implement data architecture for software and analytics solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior team members.
  • Work with Data and Software Engineers to deliver solutions to complex data problems.
  • Experience in Agile Frameworks and Scrum-master/Product Owner roles.
  • Knowledge of commercial and contractual frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Experience of Data Architecture and Data Strategy in a UK Defence or other Public Sector context.
  • Good understanding of structured and unstructured data.
  • Experience of working with cloud solutions versus traditionally hosted systems.
  • Experience of building and specifying Data Pipelines in a Cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP).
