About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant at Overton School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and wellbeing of our students with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with autism, SLD, MLD, and impaired social or cognitive functioning due to early life trauma and attachment difficulties
  • Assist in the delivery of academic and vocational learning programs
  • Provide individualized support to students in the classroom and during outdoor activities
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
