Azure Cyber Security Architect Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cyber Security Architect to join our team at Kevin Edward. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and operating cloud security solutions with a focus on Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement security controls and threat protection for Azure cloud-based programs
  • Analyze and create a solid identity and access management structure for Azure
  • Define security policies and procedures using Azure technologies
  • Maintain and improve the security posture of the Azure platform
  • Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in Azure
  • Design access configurations within a cloud solution environment using the defense-in-depth principle
  • Implement and use cloud-native tools like Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Azure Sentinel
  • Have a broad view of all Microsoft Defender for Cloud solutions, including Microsoft Defender for Cloud DevOps security
  • Proficient in all aspects of cloud security, including identity and access management, organizational structure and policies, technologies to provide data protection, network security defenses, security logs, and incident response processes
  • Good understanding of security concepts, including Zero Trust Network, CASB, Cloud computing, SIEM, SOAR, PKI, DevSecOps, IAM, and PAM
  • Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud is a plus
  • Strong technical skills with Linux and Windows operating systems and scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, and.Net
  • Certifications: Azure Security Engineer certifications (AZ-500, SC-100, SC-200, SC-300), CompTIA Security+, or SANS certification are preferred. Industry certifications like CISSP, CSSP, CCSK, GIAC, and CEH are also beneficial

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
