About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a well-established primary school in Widnes. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting a young girl in Year 2 with moderate SEN on a 1:1 basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the pupil with moderate SEN on a 1:1 basis, providing intervention and booster sessions in core subjects.
  • Encourage the pupil to participate in learning activities, helping them to reach their full academic potential.
  • Administer dermal cream as required.
  • Work closely with the school's SEN team to develop and implement individualized support plans.
Requirements
  • Full "Right to Work" in the UK.
  • Recent referenceable experience supporting children and young people with SEN.
  • Experience delivering phonics and booster sessions.
  • Commitment to a full-time, long-term contract.
