Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement engaging and effective Science lessons for secondary school students.
  • Foster a positive learning atmosphere while managing student behaviour.
  • Evaluate and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow educators to develop and execute educational programs and initiatives.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Comprehensive understanding of the national curriculum and assessment standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in managing classroom dynamics and student behaviour.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in a Science-related field or Sports Science.
  • Experience with students from challenging or disadvantaged backgrounds.

All stated pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with potential for permanent placement in the future.
