Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Premises Officer at Koinonia Federation. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the upkeep of our campuses, including buildings and grounds, to ensure a safe and inviting environment for students, staff, and visitors.
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of contractors and maintenance personnel to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with the facilities management team to identify and address any maintenance or repair issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors, responding promptly to queries and concerns.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights, with a valid first aid certificate.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle (desirable).
