Projects You'll Contribute To
As an Asbestos Analyst, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive asbestos consultancy services across Cornwall and the South West. Collaborating with local authorities and other Corserv companies, you will assist clients in managing asbestos-containing materials within various property types, including domestic, commercial, and industrial buildings.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Asbestos Professional with a proven track record of conducting asbestos management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys. Your expertise should align with HSE HSG 'Asbestos: The Survey Guide' across diverse property portfolios. Previous experience within an ISO accredited organization is highly advantageous.
Essential qualifications include the BOHS 'Proficiency Certificate in Building Surveys & Bulk Sampling for Asbestos' (P, P & P) or RSPH 'Certificate in Asbestos Surveying'. Additional BOHS Proficiency Certificates are desirable.
Key Skills and Attributes:
- In-depth knowledge of asbestos surveying protocols and procedures
- Understanding of the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations and associated documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent IT, report writing, and communication skills
- Strong analytical abilities
- Commitment to health and safety with exceptional client management skills
- Full driving license (covering manual vehicles) and the physical capability to fulfill the demands of the role
Our Team
As an Asbestos Analyst, you will join our UKAS Accredited Asbestos Consultancy team. You will provide essential support to the manager and colleagues, contributing to project management for surveying and asbestos removal contracts. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting asbestos surveys, providing analytical support, preparing technical reports, and assisting in managing ISO & ISO UKAS accredited Quality Systems.
You will collaborate closely with engineers and technicians, delivering projects within agreed timelines. Strong communication skills are essential for building effective relationships with delivery staff, internal clients, landowners, and stakeholders. A commitment to health, safety, and the well-being of all involved is paramount.
