The Recruitment Co is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join their team in the Blackpool area. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, including unloading and loading of incoming and outgoing deliveries, managing personnel, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities:- Unload and Load Deliveries: Assist with the unloading and loading of incoming and outgoing deliveries, including forklift operation.
- Inventory Management: De-label, label, re-pack and store all incoming goods appropriately, and accurately pick and pack all goods for despatch.
- Stock Control: Perform an accurate manual stock take, checking quantities of each product and recording.
- Equipment Management: Effectively use basic computer-based systems for booking collections, tracking goods, and recording equipment from goods in and goods out.
- FLT License: Must have a valid FLT license.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Time Management: Strong time management skills, with the ability to complete tasks under strict deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail, with the ability to locate and extract merchandise from shelves and storage areas.
- Physical Demands: Good endurance skills, with the ability to work on your feet for long periods of time.
- Experience: Must have experience in a similar warehouse role.
