We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our team at Logistics People. As a Stock Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient management of inventory levels, processing customer returns, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Complete regular inventory cycles, investigate discrepancies, and report results to the management team and customers.
- Customer Service: Process customer returns, respond to stock queries, and provide excellent customer care.
- Inventory Control: Reconcile goods inbound reports, create and distribute stock reports, and maintain accurate transactions in the outside warehouse database.
- Problem-Solving: Investigate discrepancies, process dispute procedures, and pursue stock rejections and returns throughout the network.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with colleagues, management, and customers, and provide regular updates on inventory levels and stock movements.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a stock control or inventory management role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with inventory management systems.
- Personal Qualities: Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Competitive Pay: £12.42 per hour.
