Position Overview:
In this rewarding position, you will be instrumental in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing atmosphere for children of various ages. Your flexible schedule allows you to select shifts that suit your personal lifestyle, with a minimum commitment of 8 hours per week (1 shift). Here’s what your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering compassionate care and support to children, which includes assistance with nappy changing, feeding, and toileting routines.
- Designing and implementing stimulating activities that encourage physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth, in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Monitoring and evaluating children's development, keeping precise records, and communicating effectively with team members.
- Establishing positive connections with parents and guardians, keeping them updated on their child's progress.
- Adapting to various classroom settings and age groups, showcasing flexibility and a readiness to learn.
- Contributing to the overall health and safety of the nursery environment.
Qualifications
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 months' experience in a nursery environment (if no formal qualification).
- A sincere enthusiasm for working with children and promoting their development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
