Position Overview:
The Risk Assessment Analyst will be integral in reviewing and making risk evaluation decisions in alignment with our organizational policies. This position demands a solid quantitative background, outstanding analytical capabilities, and meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background, preferably with relevant professional experience, and the ability to excel in a dynamic, team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Risk Evaluation: Assess and interpret financial data to make informed risk assessment decisions consistent with company policies.
• Data Analysis: Conduct quantitative analyses to evaluate the risk and financial viability of applicants.
• Policy Compliance: Ensure all risk assessment activities adhere to internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation: Generate comprehensive reports and documentation for each risk assessment decision.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to collect necessary information and provide insights that support business goals.
• Client Engagement: Interact with clients and stakeholders, enhancing the overall client experience.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement and refinement of risk assessment processes and criteria.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic performance (minimum 2:1) in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Preference for candidates with 2-3 years of relevant experience in risk assessment, finance, or a startup environment. Familiarity with Islamic finance is advantageous. Graduates with an exceptional academic record are encouraged to apply.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Analytical Expertise: Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and make informed, data-driven decisions.
• Detail Orientation: Exceptional attention to detail and precision in all tasks.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Teamwork: Capability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Attributes:
• Quantitative Skills: Solid foundation in quantitative analysis and related methodologies.
• Specialized Knowledge: Experience or familiarity with Islamic finance principles and working in a fast-paced environment.
