About the Role

In this diverse role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your technical engineering knowledge and strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills within a customer-facing environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Clarifying and understanding customers' technical and commercial requirements.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to develop optimal product solutions and competitive pricing.
  • Facilitating communication between our engineering team and customer engineers to build trust in our solutions.
  • Coordinating with the commercial team on pricing and seeking internal approvals for tender submissions.
  • Following up on proposals, negotiating to secure orders, and updating CRM with proposal activities.

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 1-2 years' relevant experience or equivalent.
  • The ability to handle a number of complex projects simultaneously.
  • The ability to understand and explain technical products after training.
  • The ability to learn how to prepare commercial tenders and calculate costings using existing tools.
