About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team at HVAC Recruitment Ltd. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of mechanical systems within our clients' facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement improvements to existing systems.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other staff members.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within a facilities management environment.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, HVAC certifications) are desirable.
