£100 - £140k + bonus

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Financial Controller to join our team at Equity Finance Partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the finance function, providing technical guidance, and developing the team to support strategic growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of monthly board packs, including financial reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and implement financial planning and analysis processes to support business decision-making.
  • Manage the annual budgeting process, including forecasting and cash flow management.
  • Review and improve financial systems and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure strong financial controls and processes to protect assets and maximize profit performance.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the finance function.
  • Collaborate with the audit team to ensure timely and accurate production of annual consolidated financial statements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors and department heads.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate-level education with demonstrable academic success.
  • Professionally qualified accountant, ideally with training in practice and industry experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of statutory accounting (IFRS) and compliance, with experience of M&A and taxation (UK and Europe).
  • Experience of monthly group consolidations, including overseas trading entities with fx exposure.
  • Strong IT and systems skills, with experience of financial planning and analysis software.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
