Job Title: Apprentice Electrical Design Engineer

Are you a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a passion for electrical design and testing? Do you have a strong understanding of IT systems and excellent organizational skills? We are seeking an Apprentice Electrical Design Engineer to join our team of Wireless Test Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform RF certification testing in accordance with European and FCC specifications.
  • Test wireless products to various international test standards.
  • Assess products prior to testing and define test requirements resulting in a test plan.
  • Record test results using electronic logbook systems and produce test reports.
  • Contribute to the development of test methods and departmental documentation.
  • Work closely with customers during attended testing.
  • Monitor test equipment calibration status during testing.
  • Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the test plan supplied by the manufacturer.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications in Physics, Mathematics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Practical aptitude and good understanding of IT systems.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to deliver work independently or as part of a team.
  • Conscientious with good interpersonal skills and commercial awareness.
