Job Description

Product Quality Support Engineer required in Luton, Bedfordshire. As a Product Quality Support Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing quality requirements of specifications and technical design documents to ensure timely, relevant, and meaningful feedback. The Product Quality Engineer (PQE) shall create, prepare, and implement the ITP and any associated and relevant directives, procedures, and instructions needed to support the plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and manage the quality control and quality assurance procedures and conformance reviews ensuring contract requirements are met.
  2. Review enquiry documents and prepare summary QA/QC documentation as part of quotation submission.
  3. Prepare and maintain product specifications and process procedures, including monitoring approval records (Agility System).
  4. Prepare detailed SIR's (Strip and Inspection reports) for customer approval (if required).
  5. Control of contract quality plans and monitor live QP's for daily status.
  6. Control of CAPA's (Nuclear).
  7. Control of MSDS and COSHH (Nuclear).
  8. Control of Sub-Contract deliveries monitoring progress, compliance, and due dates.
  9. Ensure changes in QA specifications are reflected in accordance with Engineering Manager's requirements.
  10. Provide quality support to Sales, Operations, Production Engineering, Manufacturing, and Test.
  11. Participate or lead quality improvement projects.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 5 years' experience within a Quality role in an engineering manufacturing site.
  2. Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, SolidWorks (design).
  3. UK Passport Holder (not dual).
  4. A Full Driving Licence.
