Security Operations Director

Excellerate Services (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Manager to join our team.
Job Summary:The Security Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of our security operations, including the supervision of security personnel, the implementation of security protocols, and the maintenance of a safe and secure work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and guidance to security personnel, ensuring they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Security Operations: Develop and implement security protocols, procedures, and policies to ensure the safety and security of our clients, employees, and assets.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential security risks, ensuring the organization's assets and personnel are protected.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to security personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, employees, and other stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and to address any security concerns.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including those related to security, health, and safety.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on security operations, including incident reports, risk assessments, and security metrics.
- Qualifications: A degree in a relevant field, such as security management, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in security management, with a proven track record of success in managing security operations.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: Relevant security certifications, such as a security management certification or a certification in risk management.
