Teaching Drama in a Vibrant School Community

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Drama Teacher to become a valuable member of our school community in Camden. As a Drama Teacher at Wayman Group, you will play a key role in inspiring students' passion for the performing arts and nurturing their creative talents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and inspiring drama lessons to students.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans and teaching strategies.
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for students.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to students on their performances.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate school productions and events.
  • Monitor student progress and provide support for their individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance and achievements.
Requirements
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
  • A degree in drama or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching drama to students of various ages and abilities.
  • Excellent knowledge of drama teaching methodologies and techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with colleagues.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
